Easy to use,very good product,does the job perfectly to a professional finish
I usually don’t leave reviews but I do believe in giving credit where credit is due! My windshield had a star crack that our local auto shop said they could not repair because their process would crack the windshield further. Their recommendation was to replace it.
If that was true then I figured there would be no harm in trying to repair it myself. After reading all the reviews, I figured I’d try the All Cars repair kit. I didn’t expect the crack to be completely fixed - I just didn’t want it to get worse.
I followed the directions exactly and to my surprise, the cracks are hardly visible now! The result of the repair is about as good as other repairs that were done professionally!
I hope this lasts but for now, this kit saved me from spending over $300 minimum to replace my windshield!
I'm shocked at how well this windshield repair worked! The original star chip measured approx. 5/8ths of an inch in diameter and was directly in the passenger's line of sight. I simply followed the directions and it reduced the visibility of the chip itself by probably 90% and I presume stops the spread if it were to "spider" out. I didn't have that issue however. It's important to follow the instructions as they are quite clear. I received a quote for approx. $2,400 for a new windshield so I'm quite happy with the results. Well done All Cars!
I was really pleased that I was able to fill some dings in my car window. Most of them were good enough to only barely be visible after, but one was a fairly large chip, which this product won't fill completely. Still, it will stop it from spider webbing. If you have a window ding, do try out this product - a professional may be able to do a slightly better job, but this gets you 95% of the way there for A LOT LESS MONEY.
So we had a new car and on our first trip a rock shipped the windshield. I didn't want to use insurance and I also thought $150 to fix the little chip was too pricey.
